The LIVA Hybrid Energy Storage System (Hybrid-ESS) is designed for industrial use and offers companies a way to improve their energy and power management. This leads to a reduction in energy costs and a reduction in CO2 emissions. The storage capacity of the Hybrid ESS can be easily adapted to the respective requirements.

The LIVA Hybrid ESS optimizes industrial use of energy: Whether peak shaving, frequency containment reserve, load & energy shifting, renewable energy integration, charging station optimization or power-to-X solutions. We make the electricity and energy supply for companies secure, sustainable and efficient. The storage capacity of the Hybrid ESS can be scaled as required.

We design and build customized LIVA Hybrid ESSs that efficiently combine three core components:

• Lithium-ion battery as a high-performance storage unit
• Vanadium redox flow battery as a mass energy storage unit
• Software solution with artificial intelligence (AI)

AMG LIVA's locations extend from Frankfurt am Main, Hanau and Karlsruhe to Freiburg im Breisgau. In addition to the headquarters in Frankfurt am Main, the core business takes place in Hanau. Here, in addition to the back office, our mechanical and electrical design engineers work together on the battery storage systems of the future. Software development is based in Karlsruhe. The development work on our patented high-voltage technology takes place in Freiburg im Breisgau.
